Sherri has been teaching elementary physical education for 13 years all with the East Buchanan School District in Gower, MO. She came to our attention because of her dedication to help her students explore all the possible avenues to maintain and improve their health. As her principal, Terry Poindexter, points out to us; “Sherri goes beyond performance expectations and is always seeking new ways to improve her instruction.” Sherri’s commitment to meet the increasingly difficult challenge to motivate her students to exercise and to create fun physical activity environment at her school makes Sherri a natural choice for All Star Teacher.
